OGC Nice reportedly set to make their last bid to Lorient for Terem Moffi

There could be an end to the Terem Moffi transfer saga soon as OGC Nice are reportedly putting together a new bid in a final attempt to sign the Nigerian.

Nice have already had multiple bids rejected in the past for Moffi as they reportedly fell below Lorient's valuation for the striker.

The player has been reported as keen to join Nice as his preferred destination and has since agreed on personal terms but both clubs have been unable to agree on a transfer fee.

Nice set to bid for Terem Moffi

According to reports, Nice have tabled a bid of €24 million + bonuses to secure the signature of the Super Eagles striker.

Moffi is rumoured to already have a deal in place with Nice

Moffi has scored 12 goals in 18 league games for Lorient this season so far which attracted the attention of multiple clubs and made him a transfer target.

The 23-year-old striker has been heavily linked with English clubs West Ham and Southampton and even turned down French giants Marseille as he preferred another French club OGC Nice.

Lorient had reportedly rejected four bids from Nice despite the Nigerian agreeing personal terms that include a 4-and-half-year contract with a reported salary of €250,000 per month.

Terem Moffi could be on his way out of Lorient

Moffi was left out by Lorient this weekend for the 2-1 win against Stade Rennais in Ligue 1 with head coach Regis Le Bris admitting that the player has been distracted by transfer rumours.

The Nigerian was also not involved for Lorient when they took on Bastia in the French Cup a week before, fanning the flames of his exit from the club.
