Bendel Insurance remain unbeaten but without a win in six matches after another draw outing against Enyimba in the NPFL Super 6.

Bendel Insurance have extended their winless streak but dropped more points in the NPFL Super 6.

Insurance held leaders Enyimba to a 1-1 draw in the first game of matchday three at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena on Wednesday.

Divine Nwachukwu came to the rescue to help Bendel Insurance maintain their unbeaten run but it was not enough to give the Benin Arsenal a much-needed first win.

Bendel Insurance vs Enyimba brief

The game kicked off with Insurance’s main man Imade Osarenkhoe benched.

Enyimba started positively and on the front foot and controlled proceedings at the MJ Arena.

It was no surprise when the People’s Elephant struck first through a stunning left-footed effort from winger Sadiq Abubakar in the first half.

But Insurance hit back just before the break through the reliable Divine Nwachukwu, who netted his second goal of the tournament.

In the end, both teams held on for a share of the spoils.
