The Nigerian duo of Wilfred Ndidi and Kelechi Iheanacho are in a celebratory mood after their club, Leicester City, secured an immediate return to the Premier League.

This remarkable turn of events was triggered by QPR's shock 4-0 victory over promotion-chasing Leeds United on Friday night, which effectively sealed Leicester's return to the Premier League.

Ecstatic with the news, Leicester City took to their official social media accounts to express their delight, posting: "Straight back up, Leicester City, That promotion feeling! WE ARE PREMIER LEAGUE! Print it on a t-shirt!"

Ndidi and Iheanacho, who have been instrumental in Leicester's push for promotion, will expectedly join in the celebrations.

The Super Eagles stars have played crucial roles in the Foxes' impressive campaign, with Ndidi netting four goals and Iheanacho adding five of his own.

Leicester's immediate return to the Premier League is a testament to the club's resilience and the quality of the work by their manager Enzo Maresca.

After a difficult 2022/23 season that saw them relegated, the Foxes have bounced back in impressive fashion, and their Nigerian stars have been at the forefront of their success.
