Muyoti has promised City Stars faithful that the side will have to be at ‘its best’ to get all the three points against the Millers.

Nairobi City Stars head coach Nicolas Muyoti has revealed what Nairobi City Stars must do to beat a high flying Nzoia Sugar when the two sides meet on Sunday afternoon in Nairobi.

City Stars have drawn two and lost one of their opening three fixtures, and in the match they lost, they were battered by defending champions Gor Mahia at the Kasarani Stadium last Sunday.

Speaking before the Nzoia match, the former AFC Leopards captain revealed what the side will have to do if they are to get a good result against George ‘Solo’ Oduor’s side.

“It is going to be tough. Nzoia have always been a tough team. All said and done, we just have to redeem ourselves from this one (the loss to Gor Mahia),” Muyoti said.

Muyoti has promised City Stars faithful that the side will have to be at ‘its best’ to get all the three points against the Millers.

“We will have to do our best and go for all the three points.”

Muyoti revealed that the side would have to work on its confidence, finishing and defending to get a good result on Sunday.

“Our confidence has to be at its best. Also our attacking third – we need to make sure that we are sharpening– and basically our defending has to be top notch to make sure that we win that game.”

Meanwhile, City Stars will now host Nzoia Sugar on Sunday 24 September 2023 in Ruaraka, and not the Saturday before in Kasarani Annex as had been earlier scheduled.

The changes were necessitated as being informed by Sports Kenya of the unavailability of the facility following the closure of Kasarani for renovations.

The Ruaraka clash during the upcoming matchday four tie in the 2023-24 FKF Premier League will be the first outside the Kasarani precinct.

The opening two games against Muhoroni Youth and Bidco United were played at Kasarani Annex, and the third against champions Gor Mahia was at Kasarani Main.
