Mourinho's Fenerbahce preparing bold move for Liverpool starter to dethrone Osimhen's Galatasaray
Jose Mourinho's Fenerbahce are reportedly preparing an audacious move for Liverpool goalkeeper Allison, looking to exploit the presence of new signing Giorgi Mamardashvili.
The interest
According to a report from Turkish outlet Sabah, the Yellow Canaries are in search of a top level goalkeeper, after Croatia international Dominik Livakovic left at the end of last summer.
Fenerbahçe's first option to replace Livakovic was Ederson, and they were in competition with their Istanbul rivals, Galatasaray for his signature.
However, Manchester City’s unwavering stance on a €20 million transfer fee frustrated both Turkish clubs, causing them to pivot to other targets. Fenerbahce did not look too far, eyeing Ederson's Brazilian teammate, Allison.
Chances of Liverpool selling Allison
Allison is Liverpool's starting goalkeeper, and is expected to continue in that role next season. However, with the arrival of Mamardashvili, and two other goalkeepers this summer: Freddie Woodman, Armin Pecsi, Fenerbahce are hoping to tempt the Reds into moving on from the Brazilian.
