With Newcastle’s Lewis Miley scoring at only 17 years and 229 days old, where does he rank in the list of the youngest players to score in the Premier League?

The Premier League saw the announcement of a new star after Lewis Miley became the youngest player to score for Newcastle in the Premier League with a brilliant goal to give the Magpies a 1-0 lead against Fulham.

The Newcastle youngster is highly regarded among fans and pundits alike, with his goal against Fulham underpinning impressive performances for the Magpies this season.

Due to the juvenile age of his first goal in the league, the Newcastle star is one of the youngest players to find the back of the net, but where does the Miley rank in the list of youngest goalscorers in the Premier League?

1. James Vaughan — Everton (16 years, 270 days)

James Vaughan burst onto the scene with Everton, scoring against Crystal Palace in 2005. Despite a promising start, his career was marred by injuries.
