PSG star Lionel Messi has resumed training with the rest of the squad after recently being suspended for an unauthorised trip to Saudi Arabia.

The Argentine was left out of PSG’s win against Troyes yesterday due to his recent escapade which led to his two weeks suspension and a fine by the club.

Messi was said to have missed a scheduled training session after their 3-1 defeat to Lorient with the superstar taking a trip with his family to Saudi Arabia after being paid to become a tourism ambassador without the consent of the manager Christophe Galtier and sporting director.

Messi resumes training

The club has officially posted Lionel Messi's resumption to the training ground and was pictured training with his colleagues.

Messi, who was recently suspended for two weeks after breaking the ground rules of the club, has resumed training with his teammates.

The 36-year-old served his first suspension against Troyes and he is set to miss the upcoming game against Ajaccio on Saturday at the Le Parc des Princes as they continue their push for the Ligue 1 title.

Messi set to sign for Al-Hilal

According to the most recent reports, Lionel Messi and Saudi Arabian club Al-Hilal have reached an agreement on a contract worth £320 million annually.

El Chiringuito TV has reported that Messi will accept the new proposal tabled by Al-Hilal at the end of the season and join Cristiano Ronaldo in Saudi Arabia.

Nevertheless, as things stand, the 36-year-old will reject offers from the USA and Europe and join Al-Hilal of Saudi Arabia, the league's most successful team, instead of accepting any other offers.
