Manchester City has submitted an initial bid for AC Milan midfielder Tijjani Reijnders, a key target for Pep Guardiola.

The Citizens have started planning for life after the departure of Kevin De Bruyne, who is set to join Napoli.

Guardiola has highlighted AC Milan star Reijnders as a potential replacement, with the team now taking steps to get him in.

According to Fabrizio Romano, the offer is worth around €60 million, including bonuses. However, this amount falls short of AC Milan's valuation.

Niccolo Schira reports that Milan expects to receive €75-80 million for their standout performer of last season.

Negotiations are set to continue in the coming days, with Manchester City keen to secure the midfielder before the start of the FIFA Club World Cup.
