The feud between Luis Figo and Barcelona fans just got spicy thanks to a hilarious Uber Eats advert.

Remember that infamous moment in 2002 during El Clasico when a pig's head landed on the pitch while Figo was taking a corner?

The Real Madrid legend has found a way to laugh about it - and add some extra flavour to the rivalry.

Figo’s Cheeky Advert

The advert kicks off with the Ballon d'Or winner casually reading about the pig's head incident as his window gets bombarded with vegetables.

With a mischievous grin, Figo then turns to Uber Eats to order a cooked pig's head for himself, serving it up for dinner.

The caption on the Instagram post, as reported by the Sun, adds a savoury twist, translating to, "It's OK to play with food: this time order suckling pig from Uber Eats and leave it on the table (maybe with baked potatoes)."

In 2002, Real Madrid's clash with Barcelona was interrupted for a solid 14 minutes when a pig's head flew onto the field from the stands.

The referee struggled to restore order as players and fans alike were left stunned. But now, over two decades later, Figo isn't just reminiscing; he's turning the tables, with a side of humour.

Louis van Gaal also had a quirky take on the matter. The former Barcelona manager blamed Figo for the chaos, accusing him of deliberately provoking the fans with his slow corner-taking antics.

Figo didn't hold back in his response, firing shots back at his former boss. "I don't know if [former Barca president Joan] Gaspart is taking the p***," he quipped.

"He [Van Gaal] never said anything when he was my manager for two years. And I've saved his a*** more than once."

With Figo's latest antics, the El Clasico rivalry just got a fresh serving of spice, courtesy of Uber Eats.
