The 19-year-old spent last season on loan at Middlesbrough, scoring three goals and providing seven assists in 24 Championship appearances.
Crystal Palace made a £15 million bid for Doak in January, which was rejected by the Merseyside club, who were holding out for double that amount. Everton are also reportedly interested in the young winger.
Liverpool want Guéhi
According to Nicolò Schira, via Sportal, productive talks have taken place over the last two days between Liverpool and Guéhi's representatives.
Guéhi has reportedly agreed to a move to Anfield and a contract until 2030, but the Reds have not agreed a deal with Palace.
The England international has made it clear he will not sign a new contract with Palace, with his current deal expiring next year.
Reports suggest Liverpool are prepared to pay between £30 and £35 million for Guéhi, while Crystal Palace are hoping for closer to £50 million for their captain.
