Barcelona fans could not believe their eyes after seeing Lamine Yamal on eFootball 24

Barcelona fans have comically denounced the face graphics of youngster Lamine Yamal for the upcoming e-Football video game, saying the avatar looks nothing like their 16-year-old starlet.

Terrible Yamal graphic released on eFootball

Yamal broke into Barcelona’s first team at the tail end of the 2022/23 season, making his debut for the Blaugrana in a 4-0 win over Real Betis, and has cemented his place in the side in the new season.

The left-footed winger has featured in every Barcelona match this season and has been rewarded for his fine start to life in the Blaugrana by being included in the club’s team roster on Konami’s e-Football video game.

Fans of the Blaugrana will be glad that they get to use the club’s latest superstar in the video game, but they have expressed deep reservations about how Yamal’s face is being represented in the game.

Yamal or Michael?

Yamal received an overall rating of 72, which is exceptional for a player his age, but Konami have still received criticism for the avatar, which fans say looks nothing like the talented youngster.

After the release of the youngster’s game avatar, Barcelona fans on social media platform X, have berated the graphics used to represent Yamal, with some in disbelief at the winger’s representation.

Just about everyone who has seen the image agrees that it looks nothing like Yamal, but there has been a debate about who the avatar most resembles, with the leading choice being a younger Michael Jackson.

Despite the oversight from Konami, fans will certainly still enjoy the option to use the highly rated youngster in the game and will relish seeing him star for Barcelona in real life even more.
