Alozie has become one of Nigeria’s most recognisable players since she made her debut for the Super Falcons four years ago against Jamaica in 2021.
But speaking to CAF, she noted that her job as one of those who save lives gives her extra purpose in her double lifestyle.
“Just knowing that I’m having a part in saving someone’s life off the pitch is amazing,” Alozie shared candidly.
“It gives my life a little bit more purpose. Seeing that something small I’m doing in a lab is really changing someone’s life significantly is powerful, but also being an inspiration on the pitch, showing children that they can still have a future once they’re done with their treatments, that’s amazing. It’s about helping them, being with them, and hopefully saving their life.”

Her passion for both football and cancer research runs deep. “The thing that connects me is just passion,” Alozie explained. “There are two things I’ve been passionate about since I was younger, football and cancer research.”
Balancing the demands of international football and medical research is no easy feat, but Alozie’s dedication shines through as she embraces both roles wholeheartedly.
Her story paints a unique blend of athletic excellence and humanitarian commitment, inspiring fans and young athletes to pursue multiple dreams and make a difference both on and off the field.
