‘I’ll give the money’ - Fenerbahce director vows to support with money for Osimhen’s transfer fee
Osimhen has been the subject of transfer speculations this season, with the likes of PSG, Galatasaray, Arsenal, Barcelona and even Fenerbahce looking to sign him.
Last summer, Fenerbahce chose to invest in Moroccan forward Youssef En-Nesyri from Sevilla, despite having a chance to secure Osimhen on a loan deal.
Galatasaray strategically signed Osimhen, agreeing to his financial requirements, a move that has since demonstrated its brilliance.
Safi wants Osimhen at Fenerbahçe
Safi's previous frustration has seemingly transformed into a strong desire to acquire the Napoli striker, with a loan move being a potential target for the upcoming season.
According to reports from DeparSports on X, he said, “Fenerbahçe manager Hakan Safi has a request to transfer Osimhen. He says, ‘Let’s join forces and make the transfer.’ He says, ‘I’ll give the money if necessary.”

Safi is pressing fellow board members to quickly pursue the Super Eagles star. He believes the player's signing would enable the club to compete financially with Galatasaray.
Securing Osimhen from their main rivals will be a significant challenge, with Galatasaray also working to finalise a deal for the Nigerian international.
Osimhen has become an important player, enjoying an exceptional period of form with Galatasaray.
The player has contributed to 38 goals across 36 appearances, driving the reigning Turkish champions in their pursuit of a possible domestic double.
