Odion Ighalo became a free agent after his contract with Al Hilal expired at the end of the season. Ighalo left memories in the heart of fans of the Saudi club.

Odion Ighalo has parted ways with Saudi Arabia Professional Football League side Al Hilal after his contract expired at the end of the season.

The Nigerian international joined Al Hilal after leaving Manchester United during the winter transfer window in 2022.

Al Hilal bids farewell to Ighalo

The 33-year-old was congratulated by the Blue Waves after a successful spell in the last one and half years.

Ighalo’s brief spell at Al Hilal

The Super Eagles forward created unforgettable memories at the club winning trophies and personal accolades.

Ighalo won the Saudi Arabia Professional Football League in his first season followed by the topscorer award when he netted 24 goals.

Al Hilal surrendered their league title Al-lttihad as they finished third as Cristiano Ronaldo’s Al-Nassr came second in the 2022-23 campaign.

The 2019 AFCON top goalscorer gave the fans something to cheer about as he helped the club win the King's Cup this season.
