‘I would go to Saudi’ - 2013 AFCON winner slams Osimhen’s agent for discouraging transfer move
Osimhen's departure from Napoli has raised serious concerns after multiple rounds of negotiations ended without a deal.
In recent weeks, the Saudi Arabian team, Al Ahli and Paris Saint-Germain have also expressed interest in the forward.
Chelsea has also entered the race to sign the Napoli striker this summer, but negotiations have stalled due to salary issues.
Ideye slams Osimhen’s agent
The former forward for the Super Eagles questioned Calenda's choice to rule out a move to Chelsea and gave Osimhen some counsel of his own.
Ideye replied to a comment on X, "If I were him I would go to Saudi, play for 2 years then go back to Europe.
“He's still young. some players are doing that, I don’t know why his agent doesn’t allow him to take a pay cut and play in his dream club Chelsea, I think it is more than what we read online.”

He advised the 24-year-old to think about making the financially advantageous transfer to Saudi Arabia before making a comeback to European football in a few years.
Brown Ideye has also expressed his disappointment at what he saw as the disregard for Osimhen by European teams.
The forward has claimed that the Napoli striker is not respected and he is not rated among the top strikers in Europe.
