Mbappé has dropped harassment complaint against PSG
Real Madrid forward Kylian Mbappé has officially withdrawn his legal complaint of moral harassment against former club Paris Saint-Germain, just days before facing PSG in the Club World Cup semi-finals.
What happened
The complaint stemmed from Mbappé’s treatment during the early months of the 2023–24 season, following his refusal to extend his contract with PSG. The 25-year-old was banished from first-team activities, forced to train with a group of unwanted players, and excluded from the club’s pre-season tour of Asia as well as the Ligue 1 opener.

Although the France captain was later reintegrated into the squad after internal negotiations, the incident triggered backlash from player welfare groups.
France’s players’ union, UNFP, also filed a separate complaint over the alleged marginalisation of players nearing the end of their contracts.

Despite withdrawing the harassment case, Mbappé’s legal battle with PSG is not over.
The forward is reportedly still seeking €55 million in unpaid wages and bonuses that he claims are owed from his final season at the Parc des Princes.
Mbappé’s lawyer, Pierre-Olivier Sur, confirmed the development on Monday in a statement reported by AFP.

Now with Real Madrid, Mbappé is focused on their Club World Cup semi-final against his former team.
The clash with PSG is expected to be emotionally charged, given the history between the player and the club.
