Ex-Galatasaray player explained Victor Osimhen's frustration at his teammates in the Galatasaray draw.
Former Galatasaray star Gokmen Ozdenek has come out to defend Victor Osimhen. The Super Eagles ace was visibly frustrated at his teammates following their failure to pick up maximum points against relegation contenders Hatayspor.
The Nigerian had a sensational start to his Galatasaray career, which helped the Cim-Bom open a sizable gap on the rest of the chasing pack.

‘They ended up messing up’ - Osimhen's friend reveals how Napoli frustrated clubs interested in Super Eagles star
A close pal of Victor Osimhen has revealed how Napoli frustrated every club that made a move for the Super Eagles star.
Only one in eight for Osimhen
However, following the draw against Hatayspor, Okan Buruk's side have seen their lead reduced to six points, with Fenerbahce getting closer.
Also, Osimhen's goals from open play have dried up, as while he has scored five goals in the eight Super Lig games since the last international break, four of them have come from the penalty spot.
This means the Super Eagles ace has only the solitary goal from open play in eight matches, a worrying figure.

What Ozdenek said
Ozdenek’s comments on Osimhen's frustration following the Hatayspor draw also address the reason for his poor goalscoring numbers from open play, as he criticised Galatasaray's creative players for their inability to pick out the Nigerian.
“Galatasaray cannot send the balls they want to Osimhen,” Özdenak said, per GS Gazete. “Icardi is a player who plays more with his teammates, but Galatasaray’s other wingers and full-backs should feed Osimhen. I see that he is starting to get angry. He is a little right.
“Under normal circumstances, the Hatayspor-Galatasaray match could have ended 7-0 or 8-0, but it did not. These things exist in football. You beat Göztepe and Başakşehir, and then you drop two points to Hatayspor. This is how things are. The calculations at home do not match the market.”
