The 26-year-old midfielder believes the renowned coach can help him evolve into an even more complete player.
The Dutch international recently finalised his transfer to the Etihad Stadium from AC Milan, where he was named in the 2024-25 Serie A Team of the Season.

Reijnders enjoyed his most prolific goalscoring season last year, netting 15 times across all competitions, a performance that contributed to him also being recognised as Serie A’s midfielder of the year.
Reijnders wants to develop under Guardiola
The Dutch midfielder is confident he can further enhance his game at City and looks forward to achieving this under Guardiola's tutelage.
“It’s a great chance for me,” Reijnders said of the prospect of working under Pep. “I’ve followed him since he was coaching Barcelona with Lionel Messi.
“How he played there and how he brought it here is something that made me really excited to play for Manchester City.”
