'World sexiest footballer' Alisha Lehmann reveals she was offered a mouthwatering sum by a celebrity for a one-night stand.

Aston Villa women's star Alisha Lehmann has revealed that she was the recipient of an indecent proposal by an 'internationally famous' celebrity.

The 24-year-old is widely regarded as the most attractive female football star, and that sometimes comes at a cost, as she narrated on a recent podcast.

What Alisha Lehmann said

The Switzerland international narrated a bizarre incident to podcaster Shirin David in which she was offered more than half of her annual wages as a female footballer for sex.

She claims the individual is a famous celebrity, and he sent her a message while she was in a Miami nightclub, promising her money for a night together.

"I'll pay Alisha 100,000 Swiss Francs (£90,121) for a night with her," Alisha claims the message stated, per the Daily Star.

"Of course, I didn't answer; it was crazy. The message was from someone very well-known. We've met before, but not in person. We were at the same event."

The Aston Villa forward declined to name a celebrity but maintained that he is quite famous all around the globe.

Alisha Lehmann reveals why she's active on social media

The Swiss striker is one of the most active footballers on social media, and she has now revealed this is the case because of financial reasons.

Lehmann, who earns a reported £160,000 annually at Villa, a fee lower than the weekly wage of a number of Premier League stars, pointed out the pay disparity between both genders.

She explained on the pod that she has to monetise her social media in that way due to the relatively low earnings of playing football as a woman, something she claims she would not have to do if she were a man.

"If I were a man now, I would be mega, mega-rich. As a man, you don't have to do social media, you earn so much per week that it would be enough for your entire life."

She is seemingly making the bank with her social media, as recent reports suggest she makes up to £245,000 per Instagram post.
