The FA have decided not to pursue any further action after Kyle Walker's heated bust-up with Arsenal's set-piece coach.

Gabriel Matinelli's late goal in the second half gave Arsenal a crucial 1-0 victory over Man City in the race for the championship.

The England defender was seen having an argument with Arsenal's set-piece coach Nicolas Jover after he was offered a handshake.

However, according to reports, the FA have said that no action will be taken over the incident after the game.

FA not taking action about the incident

According to reports from Daily Mail, Kyle Walker’s incident with Arsenal’s set-piece coach will not be looked into.

After the final whistle, Walker was seen on Sky Sports footage dismissing Jover with several hand waves before moving on to the tunnel.

Emirates security and Walker's teammate Erling Haaland tried to break up the fight, but it persisted as the England international was being carried into the tunnel.

Before coming to Arsenal in 2021 to work with ex-assistant coach Mikel Arteta, Jover coached at Man City for two years.

The governing body is believed to have decided against pursuing the complaint as a result of how quickly the argument was settled and how quickly it was broken up.

Meanwhile, when questioned about the incident on Sunday, Man City manager Pep Guardiola stoked the atmosphere by saying, “I know what happened, but I won't say anything. They (Arsenal) know it.”
