Kyle Walker and Erling Haaland were involved in a bust-up with Arsenal's set-piece coach following Man City’s loss against the Gunners.

Pep Guardiola’s side lost to Arsenal 1-0 at the Emirates on Super Sunday, with the Gunners breaking a long-standing record against their rivals.

Gabriel Martinelli’s late strike which took a wicked deflection into the back of the net was enough to seal the victory for Mikel Arteta’s team.

After Sunday's defeat of the defending Premier League champion at the Emirates, the England international faced Nicolas Jover who was a former staff at City.

As the incident happened

Walker's enraged rejection of Jover's offer of a handshake, the set-piece specialist after the game started the altercation.

According to reports from the Sun, Erling Haaland supported Walker when he chose to confront the Frenchman after taking offence at what he said.

Walker was furious as he went off the field, but cooler heads eventually prevailed after a brief altercation during which members of both teams interfered.

Haaland had to be restrained as well before being eventually brought down the tunnel by his teammates and staff.

Meanwhile, Mikel Arteta, the manager of Arsenal, claimed that he "didn't see" what precipitated the altercation.

The Gunners ran out victorious against the Premier League Champions as they head into the international break.
