Guardiola suggested that the 24-year-old is improving but indicated that he would likely not be involved in the upcoming Premier League match against Wolverhampton Wanderers.
“He’s getting better,” said Pep Guardiola of Haaland’s fitness. “I don’t think he will feature (against Wolves)”
While Rodri has also returned to training following a significant knee injury sustained earlier in the season against Arsenal, his return to playing minutes is not yet imminent.
Guardiola stated that the medical team will determine when the Spanish midfielder is ready to play, emphasising the importance of avoiding any setbacks in his recovery.

The decorated manager acknowledged the severity of Rodri's injury and the lengthy recovery timeframe initially suggested by doctors.
The Man City manager did not confirm whether Rodri would feature again this season, stating that this decision would ultimately rest with the medical professionals.
“The moment the official doctor says Rodri can start to play minutes, after that he will start to play minutes, but the doctors have to tell me,” Guardiola said.
“It was a difficult injury. It was an injury seven to 11 months, the doctor said. Every day Rodri is making more sessions but we have to wait so he doesn’t make a step backwards and get injured again so we have to be careful.
