Edo Queens secured their place in the final of the CAF Women's Champions League qualifiers with a 2-1 victory over hosts Inter D'Abidjan on Tuesday night.
The Nigeria Women Football League (NWFL) champions took an early lead in the seventh minute through captain, Emem Essien. Blessing Illivieda extended their advantage with a well-taken goal in the 34th minute.

Inter D'Abidjan pulled one goal back in the 46th minute through Adjoua Niamien from the penalty spot. However, Edo Queens held on to claim the win and a spot in the final.
In the other semi-final, Benin Republic's Ainonvi defeated Etincelle of Burkina Faso 1-0.
Edo Queens and Ainonvi will now face off in the final at the Stade de la Paix on Friday.
Edo Queens clinch first-ever NWFL premiership title
Meanwhile, Edo Queens secured their maiden NWFL Premiership title in a dramatic final-day showdown at the Super Six in Bayelsa state
Coach Moses Aduku's side needed a win to guarantee the title, and their fate was also tied to the outcome of the match between Rivers Angels and Heartland Queens.
Edo Queens took an early lead through a spectacular acrobatic goal from Emem Essien.
However, Bayelsa Queens fought back and equalised through a free kick from Zainab Olopade.
