Udinese’s poor form continues as they suffered another defeat at the hands of Torino on Wednesday evening.

Runjaic’s side have lost their last four games in the Serie A, leaving them in 11th position on the table.

They needed a win to displace Torino and move into 10th position but fell to a 2-0 defeat to Torino, who have now gone three points clear at the top.

 As it happened

Maduka Okoye, who has been a key player for Udinese, started in goal despite conceding four goals last weekend against AC Milan.

Udinese’s poor form was evident in their game against Torino as they could not coordinate themselves in the first half.

They conceded the first goal in the 39th minute, courtesy of Che Adams' strike a few minutes before the break.

In the second half, Udinese tried to prevent Torino from extending their lead, but could not hold them for long. Ali Dembele scored the second goal in the 85th minute to give the home side a two-goal cushion.

The game ended in a 2-0 victory for Torino, with Udinese exhibiting how poor they have been in the last couple of weeks.
