Chelsea close in on seventh summer signing as they bid for Villarreal star

According to Fabrizio Romano on X, Chelsea are offering Villarreal roughly €20 million for Jorgensen in their initial proposal.

This follows earlier conversations that were made public this week and implied that he might be a fresh face in goal for Enzo Maresca's group. Jorgensen is excited to be moving.

The Blues are said to be keen on a LaLiga-based shot-stopper to solve the club’s crisis between the sticks.

The chance to play for the two-time Champions League winners excites 22-year-old Swedish international Jorgensen.

If the transfer goes through, Jorgensen will be Chelsea's seventh summer addition as they get ready for a better season under new manager Enzo Maresca. 

Chelsea have already signed Tosin Adarabioyo, Marc Guiu, Caleb Wiley, Renato Veiga, Omari Kellyman, and Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall.
