Black Bullet Makes Bold Move: Benin Arsenals confirm move to United Arab Emirates

NPFL side Bendel Insurance have officially confirmed the departure of star striker, Imade Osarenkhoe, to the United Arab Emirates.

In a much-anticipated announcement, the club, known as Benin Arsenals, took to their social media pages to share the exit of their star player fondly called, “Black Bullet.”

The 22-year-old has swapped the Nigerian Football League for the United Arab Emirates following his move to FC United.

According to the statement from the club, Imade has joined United and put pen to paper on a long-term contract with the club.

He signed a four-year contract with the UAE club that will see him represent them until the summer of 2027.

“We announce the departure of our striker, @Imade_Osarenkho (The BLACK BULLET),” the club posted on the X.com account. 

Black Bullet had become a talismanic figure for the Benin Arsenals during his time at the club and consistently delivered breathtaking performances on the pitch.

He won the hearts of Benin fans and played a pivotal role in Bendel Insurance’s return to the NPFL following promotion from the NNL in 2022. 

Imade’s attacking prowess saw him score 10 goals across all competitions last season as the Benin Arsenals lifted the FA Cup and qualified for the CAF Confederation Cup, CAFCL.

For the Arsenals, bidding farewell to their star forward would represent a bittersweet moment. While they have lost a key asset, the transfer also presents an opportunity for the club to strengthen its squad and continue to their pursuit of success in domestic and international competitions. 

As NPFL followers await further details of Imade’s move to the UAE, his legacy at the Benin Arsenals will be remembered for years to come.
