Will Thomas Tuchel's side Bayern prevail over Real Madrid as a battle of titans awaits at the Santiago Bernabéu Stadium?

Football fans will be graced again with the second leg of the Champions League semifinal when Bayern Munich will be hosted by Real Madrid in the return fixture on Wednesday night, May 8.

This meeting will resume from a two-all draw at the Allianz Arena in the first leg. When the two sides met last, Bayern were on top of their game pressing down their opponents in their half.

Despite this, Madrid scored first through Vinicius before Sane leveled after a smart tactical change from the Bayern boss.

Bayern went ahead after a spot kick was converted by Harry Kane. Kim Min-Jae fouled Rodrigo in the closing stages of the game to give Vinicius another chance to bring Los Blancos level.

Bayern head into this contest after a 3-1 domestic victory over VFB Stuttgart at the weekend. Despite their less-than-pleasing campaign in the domestic league, Bayern have proven that they can turn on the heat in European competitions, losing just one of the 11 games in Europe.

"It's important to connect with your inner child and realize that we all dreamed of being in games like this as a child. It won't stop us from giving it our all tomorrow,” Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel said in an interview.

The veteran tactician also praised Harry Kane in a press conference on Tuesday saying that he is an amazing character and he has shown everything they hoped for this season.

Bayern approach this game as the underdogs after Real Madrid were declared Spanish champions for the 36th time. Tuchel says that the Bernabeu is a difficult venue to go and win in but nothing is impossible for Bayern.

Tuchel has already come on top over Arteta after securing a second leg win over arsenal in the quarter final. Will he manage to do the same against a team and coach who are so used to this stage of competition?
