Barcelona manager Flick give update on Yamal's contact, reveals details on Diaz and Rashford's transfer
The German manager led the Catalans to secure Spain's domestic treble, capping off a superb campaign.
Flick, whose contract was extended to 2027 this week, also saw one of his top performers this season, Raphinha, sign a new deal.
With key players already signing contract extensions, Barcelona are also making a move in the transfer market ahead of next season.
What Flick said
Barcelona manager Hansi Flick has discussed the upcoming season finale against Athletic Bilbao
On the final match of the season and his overall assessment, he said, "We're very focused. The three days of rest were great, but we've regrouped and after two training sessions, I can see the team is highly concentrated and ready to show their potential.
"I liked what I saw in training from some of the younger players; we might give some of them minutes tomorrow. I'd rate our season between an 8 and a 10."
Speaking on Yamal and Araujo's contract at the club, he said, "I have full confidence that Lamine Yamal will sign a new contract. He knows that. He loves playing here at Barca.
"The most important thing, as I've discussed with Deco, is to keep our key players to secure Barca's future. Deco knows what areas we can strengthen. We talk a lot, and we're on the same page."
"I'm counting on Ronald Araujo for next season. He's under contract, so why not? I'm happy with him. He had a tough season with injuries and the strong form of Kounde and Inigo Martinez. But I have complete faith in Ronald."
On transfer speculation, "Luis Diaz and Marcus Rashford are fantastic players. I like them, and we'll see what happens. I won't discuss players at other clubs.
"I'm not the one who decides Ansu Fati's future; that's up to him. We need to bring in a winger. In the last few matches, we haven't had many options there, and we need to address that."
On next season's challenges, "I want us to improve. I know it's not easy, but we know how to do it. We have to work hard. Everything is already planned, including the summer tour and matches. Hopefully, nothing goes wrong, and everything will be ready on July 13th. You'll see our tactics next season. Our style is very clear."
On preseason preparations, "We'll start preseason on Sunday, July 13th, with testing and training beginning Monday. We have a lot of players with their national teams. I'll try to watch some matches in Stuttgart, like Spain vs. France. Then I'll take a vacation. I'm going far away."
Flick finished by wishing Barcelona's women's team luck in their Champions League final against Arsenal.
