Mourinho has done an excellent job since arriving in Italy, leading Roma to a Uefa Europa Conference League triumph in his first season, thereby restoring his reputation as a serial winner.

Mourinho dismisses PSG links

Speaking ahead of Roma's game against Bayer Leverkusen in the Conference League, the Special One shared his thoughts on the upcoming game and the PSG rumours.

“Bayer is one of the strongest in Europe on the counterattack, that’s quite clear,” he said.

“They are very dangerous at this stage of the game. They defend, wait for the opponent to lose the ball and then they are difficult to stop because they have fast players. It’s a top team at this stage.”

“If tomorrow we play a balanced game and achieve a balanced result, I’m happy.”

Asked about the PSG rumours, Jose sounded dismissive.

“PSG? If they looked for me they didn’t find me, no one from Paris has reached out to me.”

Big picture for Jose

Despite Jose's words, It remains to be seen just how concrete these exit rumours are.

However, no one can deny the good work the Portuguese tactician has done in Rome but PSG could provide an exciting opportunity for Jose to lead one of Europe's elite clubs again.
