The recent incident between Sadio Mane and Leroy Sane has been a topic of discussion, with Arsene Wenger expressing his view on it.

The former Liverpool player and his teammate from Bayern Munich had an incident after their first-leg defeat to Manchester City. Reports say that Mane punched his teammate Sane in the dressing room after both players had an altercation.

The club then punished the Senegalese star with a sum of €350,000 as a result of his conduct, which left Sane with a bleeding lip.

Wenger advice Bayern on how to sort out their issues

Wenger believes that there were problems within the Bayern camp which can only be sorted out through “communication”.

Speaking to BeIN Sports, Wenger said, "There is a rift in the team and the management inside the club has to sort it out. The only way to sort this problem out is communication. You have to create trust and communication inside the dressing room.

"Most of the time when you have this problem with two players, you take them into the office and explain to them that 'we cannot be successful if the players inside the team do not cooperate well together".

Since the appointment of Thomas Tuchel, Bayern have only recorded two victories in their last six games. Their chances of winning a treble were thrown down the drain as they got eliminated from the Champions League and DFB Pokal.

Tuchel calls Mane a “top professional”

Regarding the altercation between Sane and Mane, Tuchel insisted that the Senegal star was a "top professional," but he also acknowledged that such behaviour cannot go unpunished.

Speaking in an interview, Tuchel said: "I've known Sadio for many years - he is a top professional. He's never had a situation like that. He is focused on football, he has my full confidence. Everybody has the right to make a mistake. This was too much - he apologised and I believe him. It was important that he stays in training, but he is suspended and he will be fined.

"I don't know where the money will go, the club and the player will decide. It is not my highest priority. It would be nice if things that happened in the locker room stayed in there. We don't need situations like that to prove our squad is alive. We don't tolerate things like that."

Bayern Munich will now focus on only the League title after they were eliminated from the Champions League by Manchester City on Wednesday. They are just two points above Dortmund who sit in second position on the league table.
