Ademola Lookman back in Atalanta training
The highly publicised fallout began when Lookman pushed for an exit at the start of the summer, even going as far as submitting a transfer request as he pushed to join Serie A rivals Inter Milan, which led to him being left out of the team.
This had a significant impact on the club's early-season form, culminating in a heavy 4-0 Champions League defeat to Paris Saint-Germain.
The resolution comes after weeks of tension where both coach Juric and CEO Luca Percassi made it clear they would not beg Lookman to play. Instead, they insisted on a change of attitude and a commitment from the player.
Now, with the matter resolved, Lookman has reportedly spoken to his teammates and is motivated to help the team.
His return brings a much-needed boost to Atalanta's attack, and he could now be available for the upcoming Serie A match against Torino.
