Al-Hilal has given Bruno Fernandes a one-week ultimatum to decide on a potential move to the Saudi Pro League.
Following United's 3-1 victory over Hong Kong China, manager Ruben Amorim expressed hope that Fernandes would remain at the club.
However, the 30-year-old midfielder is now expected to consult with his family and agent before making a final decision.
Fernandes given ultimatum
The Riyadh-based club has reportedly offered the Manchester United captain a lucrative three-year contract worth £200 million, as reported by Daily Mail.
Fernandes' agent, Miguel Pinho, recently spent three days in Saudi Arabia, touring Al-Hilal's facilities and engaging in extensive negotiations.

These discussions, which reportedly stretched late into Thursday night at the Four Seasons hotel in Riyadh, were complicated by Fernandes' involvement in Manchester United's post-season tour in the Far East.
Al-Hilal is reportedly offering Fernandes a staggering £700,000 per week, tax-free, plus bonuses. The Saudi club is eager to secure a marquee signing before next month's Club World Cup and is prepared to walk away from the deal if Fernandes doesn't commit within the week-long deadline.
They are reportedly ready to submit a formal offer of around £100 million to Manchester United should Fernandes accept their terms.
While Manchester United maintains its desire to retain its captain, the club faces increased financial pressure after failing to qualify for the Champions League, costing them an estimated £100 million in revenue.

Following United's Europa League final defeat, Fernandes acknowledged the possibility of a departure, stating, "I have always been honest. If the club thinks it's time to part ways...football sometimes is like this."
He further emphasised his commitment to the club, adding, "I've always said I will be here until the club says to me that it's time to go...I'm eager to do more, to be able to bring the club to great days."
However, he also acknowledged the unpredictable nature of football, concluding, "The day that the club thinks that I'm too much or it's time to part ways, football is like this, you never know."
