The Oga Boys have the early bragging rights after a deserved victory to show they are ready for the season.
Ikorodu City have been crowned champions of the Lagos State Football Association, LSFA, preseason tournament.
Ikorodu, on Friday, defeated Sporting Lagos 2-0 in the final of the competition put together by the LSFA for NNL teams in the state.

The Oga Boys scored two late goals to earn early bragging rights over Sporting heading into the new season which starts next month.
The kings of the game
Both teams went into the final at the Johnson Mobolaji Stadium at Onikan confident of outwitting the other.
But after over 70 minutes of play, there was nothing to separate them as the game remained goalless and tense.
In the final quarter of the game, however, it was the Oga Boys who finally broke the deadlock when Alex tucked home a rebound after Sporting goalkeeper made a brilliant save to deny a goal-bound header from Ikorodu skipper, Sabastian.

Sporting seemed to have reacted badly to going behind and it didn't take long before Ikorodu for the chance to double the lead as the referee pointed to the spot for a penalty.
Hassan stepped up to the plate to convert the resultant penalty to seal the game and the title.
