NWFL Edo Queens begin 2nd stanza with a clash Nasarawa Amazons

The epic clash will be held at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

The Edo Queens of Benin City will kick off the Nigeria Women's Football League (NWFL) second stanza on Wednesday, hosting the current group B leaders Nasarawa Amazons in an epic clash at the Samuel Ogbemudia Stadium.

The Edo state-owned club stands on Matchday Eight as the team ended the first stanza with 12 points and remains third in Group B.

The team will be bouncing back to winning ways after suffering its first home loss to the Abia Angels.

Moses Aduku-tutored girls recorded two away wins against the Ibom Angels of Akwa Ibom and the Robo Queens of Lagos.

This battle between these two rivals is very important and crucial given the fact that both coaches are colleagues on the national team.

Moses Aduku is the first assistant coach to Christopher Danjuma on the Nigerian U-20 Women's National Team.
