Odigie's Bendel Insurance remain the only team yet to lose a game this season.
The League Bloggers Awards, organizers of the Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) honours, have named Bendel Insurance Imade Osarenkhoe, and Monday Odigie as the most outstanding player and coaches for January.
An impressive start to the 2023 NPFL season has seen the promoted Benin-based club, surpass expectations to win all their matches in January, and sit at the top of Group A.
Bendel Insurance's Imade also dazzled in the month under review, scoring four goals - one in each of the four matches he played in - to top the goalscorers chart.
LBA made the announcement on Friday, revealing that Imade and his coach, Odigie were winners of the first monthly awards for the season.

Imade achievements: Scored a goal in every game he played in: Akwa United, Plateau United, Kwara United, and Remo Stars. Currently the joint-top scorer in the league with four goals.

Odigie's achievements: Won two home and two away matches, and was unbeaten in all four matches in January, as well as failed to drop a point.
Bendel Insurance also kept clean sheets in three of the four matches, including away at Kwara United, conceding their only goal - against Plateau United - from the penalty spot.
