Nike drops LeBron James and Liverpool collection to celebrate NBA scoring record
International sports brand Nike dropped the new LeBron James and Liverpool Football Club collection.
The new collaboration between the NBA superstar and the Premier League giants was released on Thursday, February 9, 2023.
Nike dropped the new collection with Liverpool after James broke the NBA All-time scoring record.
The new collection by Nike highlights James a sporting icon who is also a minority owner with Liverpool as part of the FSG group.
The statement by Nike about the coloration between the NBA superstar and Premier League giants said, "Introducing the complete Liverpool FC x LeBron collection, bringing together two of the world’s biggest sporting icons through fashion and style."

LeBron x Liverpool FC collection
The new collection by James and Liverpool was previewed earlier at a Los Angeles Lakers NBA game.
James showed off a new Liverpool shirt in collaboration with his brand to the Los Angeles Lakers game against the San Antonio Spurs on Thursday, January 26, 2023.
It turned out to be a productive outing for James as he recorded 20 points, grabbed nine rebounds, and contributed 11 assists against a western conference rival.

The new Liverpool and LeBron collection was modeled by Liverpool first team players such as captain Jordan Henderson, goalkeeper Alisson Becker, and youngster Fábio Carvalho.
Liverpool women's star Shanice Janice van de Sanden also modeled the new LeBron collection.
Henderson on the new collection said, "I’m a big fan of LeBron and all he’s achieved to become one of the greatest basketball players in history.

"It’s great to see the link up with LFC and to be a part of this exciting collaboration with the club."
Van de Sanden added: "I’m really proud to be a football player for Liverpool FC and to see this collaboration is very cool.
"It’s also more than just a collaboration, there’s something behind it: an inspiring message of ‘strive for greatness’."
The new LeBron James and Liverpool collaboration will not be worn on the pitch but available to fans via the store.
