The 2022 BAL champion US Monastir (Tunisia) defeated ASC Ville de Dakar (Senegal) 77-68 in the second game behind the contributions of Osiris Eldridge (22 points and four assists) and Babacar Sane (13 points and 12 rebounds), a former NBA Academy Africa prospect.

With the victory, Monastir was guaranteed a spot in the playoffs and first place in the Sahara Conference. Monastir outscored Dakar 45-39 and made 43 percent of their shots from the field.
