Ja Morant has a number of legal problems during the last few years, and many rumors about his poor behavior came to life after he was prominently featured in the Colorado gun controversy a few weeks ago.

Also, he was charged with assaulting a 17-year-old boy, and bodycam footage of the incident shows the young man told police about it.

When things got out of hand, the player decided to become physical with the teen. This boy claimed that he was playing "competitive" with Ja, trash-talking the Memphis Grizzlies star.

Even when the boy tried to defend himself, Ja and his buddies jumped him. He had even asked his friends if he should strike the accuser.

The police can be seen in the video talking about their options after listening and getting more information.

Several of them couldn't believe the youngster was referring to Ja Morant in person, but it did happen.

A shoe salesman allegedly threatened by Ja Morant

Ja's situation has gotten more problematic this week as a result of a fresh complaint that he threatened a shoe salesman following an argument with his mother, Jamie Morant.

Things became ugly after the employee assisted two white customers before Ja's mother, and the lady began yelling at the salesman.

Ja then arrived with other individuals asking for this man, who had no qualms with telling the police what had happened.

Additionally, the individual said that the incident was just ignored because of Ja's celebrity position and that he never again had communication from the authorities.

It is commonly known that Ja had some problems with some individuals and is said to have attempted to resolve them by threatening them.

Morant has explained holding the gun in a viral video at the start of the month.

The 23-year-old point guard Morant showed off a gun on his official Instagram account after the Grizzlies lost to the Denver Nuggets.

Morant was suspended following the gun incident as he went to counseling in Florida.

Morant met up with NBA Commissioner Adam Silver in New York to discuss the impact of his actions.

The NBA decided to suspend Morant for eight games backdating some of the games he has already missed.

The statement by Silver said, “Ja’s conduct was irresponsible, reckless, and potentially very dangerous.
