Nigeria is currently second behind the USA as the nationality with the highest number of fastest sprinters in the world this year as Seye Ogunlewe joins the list.

Former Nigeria's fastest man Seye Ogunlewe blazed back to prominence in the conversation of Nigeria's league of best sprinters this season after clocking a massive Personal Best (PB) of 10.04s.

Ogunlewe finished second behind Great Britain's Eugene Amo-Dadzie, who stormed to a huge PB and European Lead of 9.93s (0.1) to win the men's 100m at the Horst Mandl Memorial in Graz.

The Nigerian speedster has been a consistent performer this season, competing at various meets in Europe and dropping 10.2s range in all his races.

With his new 10.04s, Ogunlewe showed he is in fantastic shape this year and has what it takes to hit the World Championships qualifying standard of 10.00s.

He is also back as one of the contenders for the Nigerian title this year and making the team to Budapest.
