Elaine Thompson-Herah shared her first training video in her road to Paris series.

Double sprint Olympic champion Elaine Thompson-Herah is back in training for the incoming 2024 Olympic year after sharing a video on her Instagram page.

She posted on her page with the caption: "We’ve spent so much time judging what other people created that we’ve created very, very little of our own.” -Chuck Palahniuk

The fastest woman alive in the women's 100m event had a rocky start to the 2023 season. However, she made a statement comeback after the World Championships in Budapest, finishing the season on a warning note to her rivals that she's still in the discussion of the world's best female sprinters.

Thompson-Herah is the defending Olympic 100m and 200m champion, doing the double at the Rio 2016 and Tokyo 2020 Olympic Games, thereby becoming the first female track and field athlete to achieve such a feat in history.

She'll be gunning to make it a triple accomplishment in Paris next year and join her countryman Usain Bolt, but won't be an easy ride as she has to overcome the best female sprinters in the world, such as world champion Sha'Carri Richardson and compatriots Shericka Jackson and Shelly-Ann Fraser-Pryce.
