The Nigerian's time is her fastest this season, equaled Jasmine Camacho-Quinn's MR, and propels her to the top of the Diamond League standings as she continues her build-up to a third successful title defense.
Also, her victory is her second consecutive Diamond League win, having succeeded in Stockholm. She is now seven points ahead of Camacho-Quinn, who for the first time, didn't feature in a Diamond League meet this season.
The reigning world champion proved in Silesia that she's still in the conversation for the world title and peaking perfectly, as her SB is now No.2 on the world's top list behind Camacho-Quinn's 12.31s.
