Africa's fastest woman in history Marie-Josee Ta Lou, said yes to the love of her life, US-based Trinidadian fiancé J Smith in a grand civil wedding held in Ivory Coast.

"Mr & Mrs Smith 💍

The civil wedding is a follow-up to the traditional marriage, which took place on November 16th, but Ta Lou made it public days later after sharing beautiful photos from the occasion.

Their Afro-Caribbean wedding process from the pre-wedding photo shoots to the traditional, and now the civil wedding, has been the most talked about lifestyle content post-2023 athletics season.
