"We have a lot of grit. We have a lot of determination," she said. "We might be small, but we’re mighty."

While embodying the spirit of the Garden State, she also admitted to indulging during her downtime. In an interview with Fox 5, she shared that she was easing back into her training regimen.

"You know, I enjoyed my off-season a little too much, so I’m gonna slowly get back into training now," she said with a smile. "I’ve been eating a little too much, but you have to rest, you know?"

Despite her off-season indulgences, the four-time Olympic gold medalist maintains a disciplined approach to nutrition and training. In a previous podcast appearance with her husband, Andre Levrone, she detailed her diet, which consists of high protein, healthy carbs, and plenty of water.

"Any day can really be a cheat day, to be honest, it’s just a matter of how much we eat," she explained, noting that her husband helps her avoid extreme restrictions that can lead to binging. "We just do little doses."

Her formula for success—grueling track sessions, dedicated recovery, and a balanced diet that allows for occasional treats—has proven effective.

For McLaughlin-Levrone, enjoying life during the off-season is just part of the process before she returns to the track to dominate and make more history.
