World 100m champion showed the power of her influence again after Kanye West used her famous maxim in his upcoming album.

Sha'Carri Richardson's influence on and off track keeps growing, as her latest milestone is her famous quote getting sampled on Kanye West's upcoming Vultures Album.

West used the motivating catchphrase from her viral post-race interview clip after winning the Doha Diamond League to announce her comeback.

Sha'Carri Richardson became the world's fastest woman in Budapest, after winning the 100m world title.

“I am ready, mentally, physically, and emotionally, and I am here to stay. I am not back, I am better."

This famous mantra guided her transformative 2023 season, highlighted by becoming the world's fastest woman at the World Championships in Budapest.

Richardson won the 100m world title in a Championship Record (CR) of 10.65s, claimed the 200m bronze medal, and anchored the US women's 4x100m team to a record-breaking gold medal. Through the season, the 23-year-old snapped three wins at Diamond League meetings, won the US 100m title, and clocked most of the fastest times in the event.

How Nicki Minaj denied Kanye West

West resolved to use Richardson's quote after renowned rapper and singer Nicki Minaj rejected his attempt to feature their "New Body" collaboration on his upcoming album with Ty Dolla $ign.

The track was originally recorded in 2018 for his unreleased Yandhi album. Intending to use it this year for his Vultures album, West reached out to Nicki Minaj about his intentions.

After getting a negative answer, West posted on his X page (formerly Twitter), sharing a screenshot of a text message he sent to Nicki Minaj.

He politely asked her permission to include the 'New Body' track on his upcoming album, tagging the Pink Friday 2 rapper in his post.

Soon after, Nicki Minaj took to Instagram Live to decline his proposal, explaining that the song has been around for quite a while.

"Now, when it comes to Kanye, that ship has sailed, alright?" she declared. "I mean no disrespect at all. I just released a fresh album. Why would I drop a track that's been out for three years? Let's be real, guys.”
