The official kits sponsor for Team Nigeria to the Paris Olympic Games is now official. Find out more about the Actively Black brand.

US-based sports apparel company Actively Black has announced they're the official kit sponsors for Team Nigeria to the Paris Olympic Games.

The fast-rising sportswear company announced the collaboration with the Nigerian Olympic Committee on its Instagram page, emphasizing it as a milestone moment as a black-owned, diaspora-owned brand.

"It’s Official! @activelyblack will be the official sponsor for Team Nigeria @nigeriaolympic for the 2024 Summer Olympic Games in Paris!! 🇳🇬🇳🇬🇳🇬

This will be a milestone moment for us as a Black owned, Diaspora owned brand to have this type of presence on the GLOBAL stage.

It also signifies a huge step in our quest to be a brand that unites the entire Diaspora across the world.

Actively Black was founded in 2020 by former basketball player Lanny Smith, who launched the company to challenge sportswear giants like Nike, Adidas, and Reebok. 

Today, Actively Black is a multimillion-dollar brand, reportedly valued at $30 million in 2021. According to, it brought in $5.6 million in revenue last year while promoting a rotating cast of Black designers and reinvesting 10% of sales into organizations supporting social justice, mental health, and physical health in U.S. Black communities.

The company recently collaborated with Disney on “Black Panther”-themed clothing and made Nigeria’s official uniforms at the 2022 Winter Olympics.

Some famous stars that have been seen wearing their wears include NBA star Steph Curry, movie star Lupita N'yongo, and signing Basketball rising star Deja Kelly on an NIL deal.

NOTE: Although the Team Nigeria Paris Olympic kits are yet to be revealed, it's expected that when they do drop, the apparels will represent the true Nigerian colours and spirit.
