Sha'Carri Richardson gets star-struck meeting Snoop Dogg before her run at the US Olympic Trials

At the US Olympic trials, Sha'Carri Richardson, the current most famous and influential track and field athlete was star-struck meeting legendary rapper Snoop Dogg as they shared an embrace.

The world 100m champion was finalising her warm-up sessions in preparation for the women's 100m semifinals and title defense later on when Dogg showed up to give her a warm embrace and a fist bump wishing her luck in her quest to make the Olympic team .

A shy but excited Richardson responded by saying "Oh my gosh...It's nice meeting you."

Richardson will later on successfully defend her 100m title in a world-leading time of 10.71s to seal her Paris Olympic ticket in the event.

Dogg was present in the company of Noah Lyles's mum to watch the meet and cheer on the participating athletes.
