Sha'Carri Richardson gave another outstanding performance, anchoring USA to women's 4x100m gold in Championship Record of 41.03s in Budapest.

Sha'Carri Richardson showed her 100m supremacy in the women's 4x100m final, by anchoring Team USA to the gold medal in a Championship Record (CR) of 41.03s

The team comprised of Tamari Davis as the lead leg runner, Twanisha Terry with a monster second leg, Gabrielle Thomas ensuring USA held on to their lead in the third leg, and then handed the baton successfully to Richardson, who brought it home in style.

Richardson blazed beautifully to hold Shericka Jackson to the finish line, handing the Jamaican her second loss in a straight 100m race at the championship.

Jamaica settled for the silver medal in a sizzling 41.21s, and Great Britain won bronze in 41.97s.

The US men's team, who earlier won their race were so excited to watch the women sweep the race that Richardson got tackled at the finish line by Christian Coleman.

It is the first time United States has won both the men's and women's 4x100m relays at the same World Championships or Olympics since Osaka 2007.
