Sha'Carri Richardson won a poll as Women's Athlete of the Year and this has caused several reactions from fans of different countries online.
Richardson was nominated alongside ten other brilliant athletes, that includes Jamaica's and Kenya's Faith Kipyegon - both regarded to have had a better overall season and Kipyegon as the favourite for the award.

Sha'Carri Richardson and ten other nominees are in initial list of the prestigious World Athletics Female Athlete of the Year Award.
However, in a recent poll conducted, the American track star topped by a high 52%, Dutch 400m Hurdles world champion Femke Bol was second with 21% votes, Jackson third at 10%, and Kipyegon a distant fourth with just 7% votes.
The result has caused several reactions or 'fan war' as it's popularly called in the social media space, with fans of each country giving their takes on why their athlete is more deserving.
