Track and NFL fans will finally get to watch Noah Lyles and Tyreek Hill race each other after months of challenging and throwing jabs at each other.
After months of challenging each other, world's fastest man Noah Lyles and NFL star Tyreek Hill, will officially race each other this spring or summer, just before the US Championships in July.
The duo who have been throwing public jabs at each other for a couple of years, will finally bury the hatchet in a race according to PEOPLE.

"This has been an ongoing thing for, quite some time now, and I mean, everybody's seen the back and forth on social media," said Hill in an interview with PEOPLE. "I've been very adamant to show people what real, true speed looks like."
In August 2024, after Lyles blazed to the Olympic 100m gold medal in Paris, the Miami Dolphins star said he could beat Lyles in a race — "Sign the contract and lock in that 50-yard race."

I can train him to be fast - Sha'Carri Richardson lowkey roasts IShowSpeed following his open race challenge
Sha'Carri Richardson has roasted popular YouTuber IShowSpeed, having said she will pick him to be among her next trainees.
Hill initially challenged the 100m champ during an interview with Up & Adams on Aug 12, saying, “I would beat Noah Lyles [in a race]. I wouldn’t beat him by a lot, but I would beat Noah Lyles.”
The world 100m champion will then respond to his claim during an appearance on the Nightcap podcast, adding that he was skeptical about the seriousness of Hill's claim.

"He's challenging me to race in the 100? We can race," Lyles said. "If he's serious about it, if he's truly serious about it — I'm not talking about, you're just talking on the internet and you ain't actually coming to me and talking to my agent and saying let's set something up — if you're serious about it, you'll see me on the track."
With months of going back and forth at each other, Lyles threw the first jab this year when he displayed a sign with the message: "Tyreek could never" after winning his fourth straight 60m final at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix on Feb. 2.

'Tyreek Could Never' - Noah Lyles takes direct shot at Dolphins wide receiver after extending winning streak in Boston
Noah Lyles had a little message on his bib for Dolphins wide receiver Tyreek Hill after winning the men's 60m at New Balance Indoor Grand Prix.
"I think it speaks for itself," Lyles told PEOPLE of the message. "Everybody says that they're gonna be the world's fastest, but when it comes down to it, you gotta be the winner every time, each and every time, and every time I show up to the biggest moments, I win.
"That's why I'm the world's fastest," Lyles continued. "I did at the Olympics. I do it at world championships. I do it wherever it's needed to be done. And if I gotta go down and, you know, beat up on Tyreek to prove that I'm the world's fastest, then it's gonna be done," said the 27-year-old six-time world champion.

Meanwhile, Hill feels he's "got to do this for the guys that play my sport" and showcase that NFL athletes "did run track at some point, and we can come and take over your sport at any moment if we really wanted to."
As for the race's distance, Hill playfully said Lyles was "scared" to compete against him in a 40-meter race. "He already knew he was gonna lose that off the jump," Hill joked.
)
"I did that not to embarrass you," said Lyles. "I mean if it was 100-meters, it'd be a blowout, you know, we gotta meet in the middle."
Lyles and Hill have agreed to race in the Spring or Summer but the venue is yet to be determined.
