Dina Asher-Smith and Ackeem Blake continue impressive unbeaten indoor streak at Millrose Games
Dina Asher-Smith and Ackeem Blake continued their electrifying performances in the indoor season at the Millrose Games in New York, topping the list of victors at the prestigious World Athletics Indoor Tour Gold event.
Asher-Smith and Blake dominate the sprints
British sprint queen Asher-Smith secured another victory in the women's 60m, as she overcame a fast start by American Jacious Sears, surging past her in the final metres to win in 7.10s. Sears, the defending Millrose champion, finished a close second at 7.12s.
The men's 60m podium witnessed Jamaican speedster Blake, once again taking top honours just as he did at the New Balance Indoor Grand Prix in Boston, clocking 6.55s seconds for a comfortable win over Eloy Benitez (6.60s) and Jordan Anthony (6.64s).

Hiltz and Myers conquer the Wanamaker Mile
In a stunning upset, Australian teenager Cameron Myers claimed the men's Wanamaker Mile title, denying Yared Nuguse a fourth consecutive victory. The 19-year-old, fresh off setting an Oceanian 3000m record, ran a world-leading 3:47.57, the ninth-fastest short track mile in history. Nuguse, who set a world record on the same track last year, finished second in 3:48.31, with Hobbs Kessler third (3:48.68).
The women's race saw Nikki Hiltz execute a masterful strategy to capture their first Wanamaker Mile trophy. Hiltz made a decisive move at the bell, pulling away from Jessica Hull in the final stretch to win with a world-leading personal best of 4:19.64. Hull took second in 4:20.11, while Poland's Klaudia Kazimierska set a national record (4:21.36) for third.
Hocker outduels Kerr in two-mile clash
The men's two-mile race featured a battle of global champions, with American Cole Hocker emerging victorious over Britain's Josh Kerr. Hocker unleashed a powerful final lap to pass a determined Parker Wolfe and hold off a late charge from Kerr. Hocker's winning time was 8:07.31, with Kerr second (8:07.68) and Wolfe third (8:07.83).
Standout performances across the board
In the women's 3000m, Kenya's Doris Lemngole timed her final kick perfectly to win with a personal best of 8:31.39. Meanwhile, Ethiopia's Tsige Duguma, the reigning world indoor 800m champion, opened her season with a 1000m victory in 2:35.50.
The women's 60m hurdles final produced a familiar result, with Jamaica's Danielle Williams again showcasing her finishing strength. The two-time world champion clocked 7.90 seconds to narrowly defeat Devynne Charlton of The Bahamas (7.96) and Christina Clemons of the USA (7.97).
Other notable winners included 17-year-old Cooper Lutkenhaus, who set a world U20 best of 1:14.15 in the 600m, and Jamaican shot putter Rajindra Campbell, who threw a world-leading 21.77m. In the men's 800m, Colin Sahlman scored an upset victory with a personal best of 1:44.70.
American world champion Cordell Tinch rebounded from a disappointing performance in Boston to secure his first win of the season, clocking an impressive 7.52 seconds in the men's 60m hurdles.
Connor Schulman finished as the runner-up for the second straight event, posting a time of 7.57 seconds. He was followed by Olympic silver medalist Daniel Roberts, who completed the podium with a third-place finish in 7.61 seconds.
